About 2600 Adventures |
Thanks for dropping by! 2600 Adventures began back in 1995 as a small Atari 2600/VCS fan page. It is likely to be one of the older Atari sites on the Internet. It bounced around on numerous servers initially for several years until finding a permanent home here on Atari.org.
As a child in the seventies and early eighties, the Atari VCS was a fascinating toy to me. My family received one under the christmas tree. I remember it seemed like an entirely new world of possibility. You could literally interact with light and sound. To this day I hold a great respect for the Atari 2600.
